Shutters require a frame in which their hinged panels will be mounted. Our Decorative Frame upgrades allow you to enhance the overall look of Wood or Durawood Shutters, create a built-in look, and help integrate them with your existing window frames, cabinetry or molding (not available for Do-It-Yourself orders).

Standard Tilt Rods (which open & close louvers) are recessed and centered on the front of shutter panels. Hidden Tilt Rods are concealed behind the panels, giving your shutters a cleaner, streamlined presentation. Available for 3 ½" and 4 ½" louver in Wood and Durawood Shutters (not available for Do-It-Yourself orders).

With Stained Wood Shutters, you may select hinges in either Antique Brass or Bright Brass plated finishes. Hinges for Painted Wood and Durawood Shutters will be powder-coated White or Off-White to complement your paint choice. No Charge Option. Our smallest louver, 1 7/8", is available in Wood only; a great traditional look that is especially attractive on narrow French doors. Grand 4 ½" louvers are growing in popularity, as they let in the most light and show the most view. Available in both Wood and Durawood construction (not available for Do-It-Yourself orders).

A traditional favorite in kitchens and dining rooms, Café-style Shutters cover the lower half of windows only, allowing for privacy + light control while the remainder of the window is unobstructed. Painted + Stained Finishes

We use exclusively long-lasting water-based finishes for both our Wood and Durawood Shutters. White and Neutral painted finishes let you integrate your Wood or Durawood Shutters with existing molding, trims or cabinetry. Our range of light-to-dark stains (for Wood Shutters only) makes it easy to match or complement furniture or hardwood flooring in your home.

Our water-based paint/stains create longer lasting finishes. Patented Louver-Tension system guarantees they will never loosen, need to be tightened or adjusted. Dropped front rails keep panels from cracking at joints while enhancing their beauty.
