Frame Sides: Your Shutters require a frame in which their hinged panels will be mounted. If your windows have a substantial existing frame, you may choose a 2-sided frame (L and R sides). If your window has a sill (or the floor) at the bottom, order a 3-sided frame (top and both sides). If you window is raised off the floor, with no sill, order a 4-sided frame.
Frame Depth: You may select either 2" or 3" deep frames for your Shutters, to complement other molding in your room or the proportions of your window. Both depths will work well with either 2 1/2" or 3 1/2" louver size.

Divider Rails allow the louvers on the top half of your Shutters to be opened independently from those on the bottom. This is a No Charge Option.
Number of panels: Each Shutter you order will be constructed as one, two or four panels that are hinged together. You may have a choice as to the number of panels, depending on your window width (available choices in your width will be automatically displayed when you select). Shutters with two or four panels will open in the center with half of the panels folding to each side. If you have more than one set of shutters in a room, we recommend keeping panel widths similar from window to window, for visual appeal.
