Inside mounted treatments are installed within your window frame, creating a finished, built-in look without concealing your molding. Inside mount is also suggested if you plan to layer another treatment, such as Drapery, a Valance or Cornice, over your blinds or shades. Inside mount is strongly recommended if your windows aren't "square".

Outside mounted treatments are installed on the wall or molding surrounding your windows. An outside mount is often used to make a window look larger, to mask flows in a window or adjacent wall, or when there's not enough frame depth for inside mounting.

2-on-1 Headrail: A single headrail tops two side-by-side blinds, which can be raised, lowered and tilted separately. This affordable upgrade gives your blinds a uniform, streamlined appearance while enhancing light control options. 2-on-1 Headrail is also highly recommended for wide windows, where a single Metal Blind could be prohibitively heavy.

The slats of Metal Blinds are generally joined together, ladder-like, by thin cords strung through route holes in the slats. Though small, these route holes allow sunlight to peak through even completely closed blinds. In our Privacy upgrade cords run down route hole in back of slat. When in closed position, slat overlap conceals the cords, practically eliminating light leak. Add 10%

Select from two ways to control the tilt of slats in your Metal Blinds. With cord tilt, your blinds will have a pair of hanging cords, operated in unison to achieve the desired tilt. With wand tilt, slats are opened + closed via a twisting motion on the wand, which is approximately half the height of the blinds. Lift cords raise, lower + position your Metal Blinds, operating independently of your slat tilt. Select left- or right-side placement of lift cords, taking into consideration your room configuration, ease of reaching cords behind furniture, etc. 2 on 1 Headrail will have the tilt and lift cords on the outside edges of your blinds. Blinds between 11-5/8" and 18" wide will have split controls, and center tilt for widths between 7" and 11-1/2".

Hold Down Brackets fit into holes in the endcap of the bottom rail of your Metal Blinds to hold them in place. This is especially useful with blinds mounted on doors what will be opened and closed regularly, or on blinds that will be mounted in a windy location.

Spacer blocks are available for Outside mount blinds. Designed for pushing the blind away from the wall for clearance. Blocks project the blind 3/8" from the mounting surface. You can combine up to 3 blocks to achieve 1-1/8" clearance.
